Abstract

Bournonite (CuPbSbS3) is a candidate ferroelectric absorber layer for photovoltaics. In this work, the synthesis and characterisation of thin-films as well as bulk samples of bournonite is presented, along with a detailed correlated study of the structural and optical properties of bournonite thin-films and finally an exploration of bournonite solar cells.
