A Comparison of Two Different Post-democratic Theories

SCHENNER, JOHANNA,KATHARINA (2015) A Comparison of Two Different Post-democratic Theories. Masters thesis, Durham University.

PDF - Accepted Version

The thesis deals with two different conceptions of post-democracy. Crouch (2004) sees post-democracy in the UK as the hollowing out of the state by economic interests while Baumier (2007) views post-democracy in France as the citizenry subjugated to illusions propagated by the Left.
